Dr Kwasi Kwarteng, UK Business Secretary, visited Evince today to learn more about its pioneering technologies and the challenges facing leading-edge technology companies outside the Cambridge-Oxford-London triangle.
Evince has been able to bring one of its most expensive bought-in analytical services in house, thanks to Covid. The new FIB/SEM system has allowed the company to further reduce its dependency on university-based tools.
Ted Wiggans, who was previously COO at inkjet company Xaar plc, has been appointed as chairman of Evince. He brings over 40 years’ experience in building manufacturing capability within the global semiconductor sector.
Evince Technology has further strengthened its board of directors with the addition of Dr Keith Ferguson as a non-executive director. He brings over 35 years of global electronics industry experience into the company.
